Default My cargo/trunk light isn't working..

So I got a brighter LED bulb to replace the stock trunk light. I carefully removed the housing and unplugged it. After I switched the bulbs, I plugged it back in. It didn't turn on. I thought I mixed up the polarity so I switched it and plugged it in again, no luck. So I decided to go back to my stock bulb and now the light won't turn on anymore. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you want some real light back there, mount an LED strip under the strut bar:
