So i was driving pushed the throttle down a little more than half way and after i let off and started braking my Z stalled out, i pushed in the clutch, turned the key and the car started back up no problem. This happened about 5 times in the past week. I tried to make it happen on purpose but never really got it to do it, it just happens randomly. It happens after i give alot of gas. Sometimes when im driving i see the battery and brake light turn on a few seconds then it shuts off. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Seems like your Throttle Body is dying you need a new throttle body!!!

 

The crank/ cam position sensor will cause your car to turn off while driving if it is bad.

Get the ECU read (with code reader, many times the code doesnt trigger light)

Check Maf sensor too in case.

 

I have a hks racing suction intake and a nismo catback exhaust

 

I needed a new MAF sensor so i just bought a ebay one. I didnt have any problems with it since i bought it 2 months ago, this problem started in the past week.
BTW I didnt get any check engine lights from this.
