Roadster window auto retract
New to the forum, thanks to all the great info. I’ve already found an answer to one potential big issue that turned out to be a $12.00 fix (PCV valve).
With that, I have one to pose. The windows on my 04 Roadster are programmed to crack open slightly when you open the doors. Both of my doors attempt to do this but there’s apparent slack/wear in the system. My question is would this lie in the cable or the drive gear?
Why I’m questioning this is when I open the door and I then push the top of the window down it will then move itself back up to full close when I close the door. To me it would seem like it’s not the cable system as it knows where to go and does it fully so it would point to the drive gear?
Thanks all, Joe
