Default Trunk Lock, motor sounds dead....

I have a 04 350z, this morning trying to open the trunk with fob, it didn't respon and so does the push button......everytime I push the button I can hear really lightly clicking sound, but sound like the trunk motor is dead, I can't get my trunk open at all.....
Anyone have any idea or experience? thanks

Did you try the hatch release located under the back strut tower inside the car?

Is it under the strut tower in the trunk?

Yep, under, but you'll be scrambling to reach it back there from the front.

Info has already been given on the location of the emergency cable(under the strut bar)location. There is no "trunk motor".What is not working is the trunk ACTUATOR.
This is a common part to go out especially in the earlier Z's .Its a quick& easy fix.But
its around 200 bucks.Shop around.Dealer prices will vary.Try Courtesy.

Yes, that means the actuator is not working. Takes 20 min to fix, just look up the "trunk won't close" thread.
