Default whats the difference between purple and black injectors???? and p1051 code

i have searched all over the net and in the forum (from what i think) and i cant find anything explaining the difference in the purple injector and black ones.my 04 350z has black but i am throwing a code saying the #5 injector input.i have a set of purple injectors im planning on switching to if i can.but it dont say this code is even for nissan.i also have a slew of other codes.

my codes are as follows,

p1148
p1168
p0300
p0037
p0057
p1031
p1051

i have both new rear o2 sensors comming in but cant beleive that its throwing basically all o2 sensor locations.i kinda hit a wall as to what i need to do to fix these codes.any help is greatly appreciated and i apoligize in advance if this was covered somewhere else in the forum and hope its in the right place.

All those codes are fuel and A/F related. I would change the sensors, clear the codes and then see what happens. Odd that several of those codes are regularly thrown by cars that are F/I.

i have 2 of the 4 o2 sensor that i can put on,i forgot to mention that the car has megan resonated test pipes but they have built in spacers for the o2 sensors so o2 sensors have to be bad.im going to change all of them out and see what happens

i am kinda shocked that at least the sensor i replaced didnt go away in the computer even after resetting it and i drove it on the highway 80 miles after the change.i put fresh spark plugs, cleaned throttle body and mafs (very dirty) the car is running great and powerful and getting super good gas mileage.29-31 on highway.some please help me get rid of this damn cel problem.shurely i dont have to replace every single sensor

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. What I did so far was replace all 4 O2 sensors, mass air flow sensor and throttle body. This didn't fix the problem. My mechanic checked the wiring harness and regrounded all sensors and that didn't help either. He's now saying it's the ECU that needs to be reprogrammed or replaced.

Did you find a solution to your problem?
