Noises from the Right Front Tire
hey guys,
I currently have a huge problem, When i turn my steering wheel to the left, a clunking noise comes out of the right front tire. And when i turn my steering wheel to the right, a different grinding/whining sound happens. Since all i know is trucks im trying to figure this out, but stumped and its starting to nickle and dime me.
I seen on here that if you push your tire and it wobbles, its your center hub assembly, well i did that and neither side budged, so thats good, but afterthat i looked at my new upper control arm that i installed, and i noticed that the rubber boot has been worn away.

Would anybody know what caused my brand new boot to wear like this? Would off the top of their head know what the problem would be? i just want my car to be quite again, with out the fear of dying.
Thank you in advance.

Check your inner fender liners for the grinding/whirring. Just an Idea.
As far as the clunk, tie rods, ball joints and end links. Wheel bearings usually whine and roar unless they are getting a lot of play then you get all of the above.

Also, pay special attention to the bushing at the location where your lower control arm is bolted to the front member. I had a clunk when turning and it turned out that the bushing had failed, and allowed the control arm to move along that bolt. Research showed that it was a common problem for our cars after 80k or so miles.
This matter is covered in another thread, with excellent pictures of the problem I had: https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...translink.html
Hopefully your problem is something minor!
