Default Gauge Cluster Not Illuminated

Just realized that my cluster gauge with the trip computer, volts, and all that good stuff hasn't been on the entire time I've had the car(2003 touring). Does this mean the fuse is blown?

considering all three are off it may be unplugged … you'll need to pop off the center 'waterfall' piece and check the connection.

When did you purchase your Z? Once you get your three gauge cluster repaired, you'll also be able to readout real time tire pressure readings. That's one of my favorite interior data features.

I've had this on my 2003 touring since day one…was this not available on successive models?

No, newer models don't have that. My '08 doesn't display the individual tire pressures. It just has a low air warning light.

most likely unplugged or not plugged in all the way (loose contact). Hopefully the previous owner did not cut off the plug. (assuming you bought it used)

Thx for the replies guys. Hopefully it was just accidentally left unplugged I'll have to follow the service manual and remove the "cluster lid c" to see what's going on.

Anyone know of a more detailed tutorial on how to remove the "center waterfall piece" the service manual is very confusing and I'm not seeing any obvious screws or anything when I inspected the dash.

This should help. In the link below, go down to post number 11 and follow that link. I tried to link from there but did not work

let us know what you find. if you have AT, there is one more tip. get the shift **** out of the way by puting it into neutral to make it easier to remove the shifter surround (the piece that holds the a/c controls). it also helps to get the upper consol further foward to see the cluster wires without having to disconnect radio and remove the whole console. i have done this several times so i know how much it helps . remember to put wheel chucks under the tires and also engage the parking brake.
One more hint. if you have after market double din, wrap the shift **** with some soft towel else your screen can hit it when you tip the whole console foward. i learned the hard way and i don't want you to suffer a cracked screen
