Alternator R&R

Alternator R&R
I searched here and via google.
My alternator started overcharging yesterday. I got a new one and picked it up this morning.
The manual wants the fans out which on my car means the upper hose has to go.
I really don't want to mess with the coolant and it looks like if I pull the sway bar I can get it out. Has anyone else done this?
Here is what it looks like before anyone says this thread is worthless w/o pictures.
And while it was off the ground I found this.
Called my dealer, obviously not in stock won't be ordered until Tuesday.
I wondered why the car felt squirreley.

I didn't know until this morning. It is VOR, especially seeing as it doesn't have an alternator right now.
The answer to my question is no with an addition.
Pulling the sway on that side helped, fans had to come out & so did the oil filter.
Took a break for the 3rd period of the Kings game to see if they can break the trend of cup winners that lose game 1 of the next season.
Not looking good now. 4-1 13 minutes left.

Just saw this, sorry, but yeah the removal of the fans would be necessary especially with the long bolt on top that secures the alternator. I don't see anyway to get that bolt out without removing the fans.
At least now you know you didn't waste your time removing the fans.
