my 2003 is right around the corner from hitting the 100k mark, and last night the "check engine" light turned on while on the freeway. at the same time seemed like my car was going to turn off but kept going.....any idea whats going on with it? the light wont turn off either. about a month ago had oil pan and gauge changed, but other then that nothing else has changed.

 

get the code scanned - google it and/or post it here...

 

That could result from many things. You can pull the code that will get you started isolating the problem. --Spike
