Default 350z rust problem...

Can anyone report a rust-problem on the upper edge of the 350z’s rear fender-well?

I’ve experienced this twice, and it is very difficult and expensive to repair. You need to disassemble from the car’s interior, which becomes very costly.

I’m interested hearing from anyone else having this problem.

Location? Maybe this is a regional issue.

I'm from an area that sees 300 days of rain each year and salted roads in the winter. I have yet to have any issue. As far as prevention of rust, whenever you wash the car, make sure you clean inside the fender wells and clear any debris that may be getting stuck up there and holding moisture.
