Default Lag When Accelerating From a Stop

I am a new owner of a 2007 Z Roadster. I noticed when the engine is warm, the car lags when accelerating from a stop and sometimes from slow speeds. Is this a probable tune up issue? The car just turned 29K and Car Fax shows no reported maintenance other than regular oil changes. I am new here and any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

I think he meant MAF A.K.A. Mass Air Flow.

29K is nothing for that car, all it needs is oil changes and checking if the air filters are dirty. If you don't have a check engine light then do as suggested , air filters and while you're at it clean both MAFs with MAF cleaner and if you rally want I suggest cleaning the throttle bodies as well.
