hello i have a 2004 350z touring model that im having problems with it
the car starts however it idles low, seems to misfire and my car shakes when the rpms drop
i have a ses light on for p1136 which is the solenoid valve howevever i swapped my friends into mine and it didnt make a difference
i also swapped both the camshaft position sensors and maf sensor and it didnt make a difference
also when i start driving my vdc off light and slip light both come on and dont turn off..
when i unplug my solenoid valve or maf sensor then car idles much smoother and doesnt shake however ses light is still on..
chkecked fluid, fuses, brake lights.. all good.
i need help. know anything about this?

Might sound dumb, but did you check your battery connections? A bad connection can wreak havoc in the electrical system. Also, since you have a Z friend, try swapping out the throttle body just to make sure. Check the maf and solenoid wiring for any cuts or damage.

 

having the same problem to my 03 350z after an audio install in which the battery was disconnected for about 4hrs. did you ever resolve your problem? do i need to reset the ecu or something?

 

P1136 is the variable intake solenoid on the driver's side. Either that, or the wiring between it and the ECM.
