I know this is a necro bump, but wanted to confirm for anyone that happens to have this problem. It was indeed the fuse by the battery under the trim panels. It was fuse AT CONT.

 

Very useful, actually, also was AT CONT. In my case, I’ve blown it when checked the wire if it’s reverse or not.

 

Aight fellas! I lost reverse lights while I was trying to install my extra fancy EBay backup camera,replaced the reverse switch, I found that if you drop the transmission just 1 inch lower, there is waaaay more room for activities,and yes, 2 screwdriver method worked like a charm taking that connector off.
Howerver! That didn't fix my problem,for me it ended up being the NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH which is in a similar location but on the passenger side.
So if some of you keep having the same issue,you may wanna take that sucker in consideration as well!
