For the past 2 days I've been smelling coolant in the car, so i opened the hood to check the engine, I herd some squirting noise in the rear of the engine, so I did a quick peek, but since it started to rain decided to chime in here, ill go back to it later just a tight spot to see and engine was warm so didn't want to feel around. I'm sure its a loose hose or something, location is close to the vacuum hose of the intake. Could it be a busted seal? might go forward and do a pathfinder bypass mod. Any help would be appreciated.

 

There's not really enough info here to make an educated guess on what's busted.

 

I had a similar issue, it ended up being a plastic relief valve located behind the intake manifold on the battery side. You might wanna get that checked out before you grt stranded on the freeway like i did haha

 

the hose on the rear next to the intake hose, dunno what its called, right bellow the clamp is ruptured causing it to spray, guessing the clamp over time started chaffing. I wasn't able to check since it was raining hard, i'll be going to get a replacement at the dealer or pepboys or where ever. the back of the engine is a tight fit, would it be easy to replace?

ok so there is a small hole below the throttle body and right above the hose, that is leaking, im guessing something is supposed to go there

any one know or has had this issue with coolant leaking in that area
