Exclamation Leaking FUEL!!

U guys I've been smelling gas inside my Z for a while now and I figured it was cause the o-ring on my fuel pump (passenger side) expanded and didn't seal correctly, when I tried to tamper with that stupid floaty that tells me I'm always empty. But today I was basically empty since iv been keeping track of my mileage and filled up 10 gallons. When I was finished I saw a pool of gas under my rear passenger tire.. I looked under and saw fuel dripping any idea WTF is going on to cause this???

Rubber Fuel lines.

Check there first. I bet you have a old fuel line that's corroded and needs to be replaced. Just a guess without actually being able to see the car. Whats the history of your vehicle? Anybody work on it recently?

The rubber fuel lines came from the factory prone to heat/element's corrosion. They did a recall for it which replaced the lines with more durable ones, but im not sure how that works after you've gone over the warranty period. I think a recall should be valid no matter what, but im not sure because i've never been in a recall situation.

GL.

Follow the fuel, and find where it is leaking from?

It's not that difficult to look at something yourself

If you put too much gas in it it will over flow on to the ground... Might have not been as empty as you though.

I went to the dealer about the recall and it shows they replaced it back in 06 when I had 60k miles. Now it's 2013 and I'm at 107k.. They scheduled me for Tuesday for a diagnostic
For 50 bucks. But I plan on jacking the car up Sunday and seeing if I can find a leak or corroding hose anywhere. Could anyone direct me which hoses will be fuel hoses?

No body work its a clean title but I know it was hit in the front once upon a time. Any idea where I could find a diagram for the fuel lines?

Could be that, I filled up only half way 10 gallons and right around 9.5-10 gallons the leaking started to occur

Is the leak behind the front right tire or the rear tire?

Prob from the fuel pump area , pinched O ring when you pulled the pump/float.

Also last night I poke around with a flash light and realized the light shine to the ground when I look down the fuel pump area...

Everything went well with the new o-ring and retainer bolt. No more fuel smell and no more leaking.

Just wish I could fix the issue with the fuel line and floaty saying I have no has after the last quarter tank
