Help!! P1111 code
I tried looking this up online already but couldn't find anything useful. I changed out my valve cover gaskets yesterday on my 04 z and managed to get everything back together again but right after firing it up, it threw a CEL. Pep Boys says its a P1111 code for the IVT control solenoid valve. Any ideas where this is, what might've caused it or how to fix it?????
It drives like normal and there doesn't appear to be any leaks yet out of the gaskets.

P1111 = Intake valve timing control performance. This basically means that there is a faulty crankshaft position sensor, a faulty camshaft position sensor or an accumulation of debris to the signal pick up portion of the camshaft. The accumulation of debris seems the most likely cause as you've stripped out the valve cover gaskets and it doesn't take much to pose problems with the sensors and debris and as you say the engine threw the CEL code straight after firing up. You should be able to fix this by stripping it down again and giving everything a damn good clean, enough to remove the tiniest amount of debris. Put everything back together again and go through the ECU reset procedure AKA the pedal dance. This should then if you've done the job properly remove the CEL. It may drive normally but its sensing that something is not right and needs seeing to.

That DTC is found in the EC (Engine Control) section along with how to troubleshoot the problem on EC-401 to EC-407.
Worst case scenario is you need a new ECU, best case is you have a bad ground or just need to clean up. Most likely scenario is you need to replace the sensor.
