Ok so swapped my stock power steering reservoir tank out with an aftermarket one. Since then been having some issues with loud whining noise when I'm driving. Makes it of course when I turn the wheels but some times it's a constant whine while I'm idling, and begin to accelerate. I've done the turning the wheels side to side, both ways with tires on the ground and also jacked up slightly where tires aren't touching the ground, to rid any air that might be in the lines but that didn't work. Also when the car was running I took the cap off the reservoir and man that crap is churning around in there like crazy is that Normal? actually started coming out the top and it's where the fluid should be... The car only has 29,xxx miles on could the pump really be bad already???? only started up after installing the new reservoir :/ Any suggestions....

 

Put the stock one back on. The one you bought is probably to small
