I have a quick question , i bought a hks exhaust and installed it and the check engine light came on, i reset the ecu and the light went out and it has not came back on its been about 14 hours since it happen, is there a reason why that happened and will the light come back on again eventually ?. i read on a different forum that it sometimes happens when you install performance parts to your car and once the ecu is reset it will stay off. need your opinion guys.

 

The light will come back. Its probably just one of your oxygen sensors so its not a big deal. You either need to buy some bungs or get a tune and that should get rid of the code. Throwing a code for exhaust isn't bad, if you're going to live with it I would just scan your car from time to time just to make sure everything is alright.
