HELP! Throttle hesitation in any gear
Replaced crank/camshaft sensors. Didn't fix the issue. Not throwing any codes or CELs. The issue is a slight hesitation in acceleration after shifting gear. Also inconsistant acceleration. Example: using cruise control it turns off because a loss of power. I am not sure what else to replace since no codes. Took to nissan and ran diagnostic on their machine and all checked out okay. I thought throttle position sensor but I cannot find the replacement part online. Any ideas would be cool before I blow money on a mechanic
The odd thing is. If run the car all day. The second to third startup the cat runs fine. No issues. Its as if its worse the longer car is idle like when I leave for work in afternoon after it sitting all night in garage.
Did you replace all 3 sensors with factory ones?
The throttle sensor is part of the actual throttle body, you can not get the sensor separate. If you do need to replace it, you will need part number 1611K-8J10BRE.
Only other thing I can think of is the VTC sensors.

Honestly didnt replace with OEM sensors. Went to advanced auto parts. I am considering getting all the OEM and see if that helps. Dont think it's bad fuel since ive filled tank up three times with different gas each time.

That's a good start, working at the dealers for such a long time you see a lot of things like this.
We always get customers that come in for the cam and crank sensors problem, we give them an estimate and then they go get aftermarket ones to save some money. Few days or weeks later they come back with the same problem and purchase factory ones and problem solved.
Not saying that aftermarket is bad, sometimes the parts work just the same. Not 100% sure that's the problem with your car, but from what you described it could be it. Hard to diagnose without seeing the car in person.

You provide very good advice here. I would definitely go with OEM since the price difference is minimal. I also would replace both banks (camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensors) if the car has over 80K miles.I also got a code for bad O2 sensor, but did not replace this. Replacing the other sensors removed the bad O2 sensor code.

TPS could be the problem here, and as you state, a faulty TPS requires replacing the Throttle Body. It is possible to test the TPS using a multimeter (you need to test both voltage and amperage).

I've heard of this as well, but don't know for sure. It would be helpful if you can direct us to those people you mention.

YOU HAVE NO CODES....as per post #1. What would make anyone think it's a sensor?...Specifically, what would make anyone think it's a tps sensor?
You need to add a little dry gas first, to eliminate the possibility of water in the tank, I don't care how many times you've filled it.
If that doesn't work then let me ask, do you have a cold air intake?

Sometimes you get a code seemingly unrelated to the problem, and sometimes you don’t get a code at all. What’s confusing here is he reports that the problem is intermittent. No one mentions a loss of vacuum.
This thread is full of crazy stupid advice.

Who said anything about vacuum?
OOOOH tough guy huh? My "firstZcar" was 5 years ago now. I've been working on cars for over 25 years and haven't paid a mechanic for anything in over 10.
I'm not against oem parts either. What I am against is people throwing parts at a vehicle and hoping for the best......Learn how to diagnose! If the car has no codes, you look for the obvious, like water in the gas, bad wires/grounds etc. My car had a bad knock sensor for at least 100 miles before it threw a code, and the CEL hadn't even lit up yet. So in the meantime, look at the obvious, and keep checking for codes.....OG....Your forum experience doesn't trump my real-world experience so butt out!
Crazy stupid advice huh........ Maybe if you were a OG member like some of us here these stupid tips should help or fix. I work in the field as well and ANY time we have a Nissan here with codes or similar problems we always replace with OEM nissan sensors. and guess what? No problems. ANd since this is your "first" Z car maybe you should sit back and STFU and listen as well.

OK… I’m thinking you are one of those people who post when they have no idea. An analysis of your posts supports a lack of knowledge.
You talk about mice causing a problem with a car, lack knowledge about codes, and generally seem ignorant about car repair.
