Default Windshield Wiper Issue

Does anyone else have the problem where the wipers do not go down all the way? When I'm driving they stay up on the windshield and when I park I have to push them down for them to sit right underneath the hood.

I have never had this problem. If I were to guess, something is wrong with your wiper motor or there is some sort of obstruction.

If you turn them on do they do a full motion or do they only go as low as pictured and then do the swing across the windshield?

They swing into the A column on the side and then stop where they are in the picture. I've always thought that someone removed the arms and put then on wrong.

Pop them off and reinstall them. It's a 5 min job if you take your time, then you'll know if your issue is something else. If they hit your pillar, then chances are they were put on wrong.

Have you found the fix for this? There seems to be alot of topics on this issue, but no one's posted the fix yet. Let me know. I was thinking about buying a wiper motor to see if it would fix it, but 150 to test is a bit much. Mine seems to be hitting the bottom and top bezel. The wiper when turned off, doesn't go all the way down. Please let us know

^^ I would run the wipers and then turn them off. Note the wider arm position. It appears too high in the picture you posted.

Do this:

1. Remove the wiper arms and reinstall so that the arm is aligned with the lowest position of the stroke.

2. Run wipers and note bottom position. If it is incorrect, repeat step 1.
