Hey guys so I have to change my bank 1 camshaft sensor but I dont know which one it is. Before anyone sais search I already did but I'm confused because some threads say bank 1 is the angled connector and some say bank 1 is the straight connector. I have a 2004 350z base and I even found a thread on here of people arguing which is which so I just want the final answer. I replaced "bank 1" angled connector yesterday but my car still got the cel but I'm also using a cheap eBay sensor just to see if it would fix the problem but after class today I'm picking up the OEM parts from Nissan because I might just go ahead and change bank 1 bank 2 and the crankshaft sensor while I'm at it. Also for the crankshaft I've read some people say crankshaft switch and crankshaft sensor referring to the sensor by the oil pan...switch and sensor is the same thing right?

 

Bank 1 is passenger side.

 

When I go to z1 motorsports it shows the passenger that its a straight connector. So is bank 2 the angled sensor? Yesterday I replaced the one that's below the throttle body

 

Bank 2 is under throttle body and is angled, bank 1 is passenger side straight sensor

 

Go to autozone. Get both, return the one not needed if your not sure
