just read the whole thread and got the opposite impression, seems like the '03 are the ones with the least major problems, just routine maintainance for most of these

I just bought mine with 86k miles, radiador is being replaced by the dealer now then it's going straight to Nissan for a 90k mile inspection

Have 102,xxx miles on my 2003 . So far I did routine maintenance , changed valve covers, greased my axles due to the clicking noise (so worth it ) .
The only problem I have is the fact I'm throwing the p302 cylinder missfire code even though I changed the injector , plug and coil and still have it every few months but doesn't effect driving .
Lastly the noisy as ***** throw out bearing lol which I've just learned to deal with until I do a clutch .

03' Nissan 350z with 94k - This one has seen better days currently thinking about trading it in or replacing the following.

-Wiper blade motor is bad (blades still work but don't go fully back to resting position)
-AC system (Getting estimates from other shops and see if the whole thing needs replacement)
- Both control arms (I was told they were bad, sometimes here a creeking noise when rotating steering wheel)

I haven't seen anyone that had to replace there system so I'm curious as to what you guys think?

Do both radiator fans turn on when you activate the A/C ?

(One of mine burned out, it affected the A/C)

what's wrong with the AC? my 03 has 86.5k miles and the AC is making a bit of noise, going to get it looked at tomorrow at my dealership since the problem started after they replaced my radiator and two of the belts

AC blows cold and had no other problems thought

I'm sure it needs something.

I've done the axle grease, and I also lubed the clutch fork pivot ball with copper anti-seize.....my best cheap fixes to date!

Mine still needs the window grease streak issue fixed, I want to replace the sound system, and still haven't gotten to the belts. Every fluid has been done and so have the plugs.
I'm also missing one plastic cap over the left rear taillight bolts.
Oh, and I replaced my license plate screws with stainless ones

Car's been awesome overall....you know, considering it's an '03.

Have less than 59k miles on my 03 Z.

Window motors replaced
Installed CD009 trans last summer with Z1 clutch plate and FW

That's about it. Everything else has been a mod or upgrade or whatever.

I've replaced the alternator, belts battery and an oil cooler line so far on my 06 twin turbo. Needs a clutch and thanks to oil cooler line I'm gonna replace the motor to be safe and cause I want more boost. Also need to replace driver door lock actuator, rear strut cover and the cover panel behind the driver seat.
