Default Sensors?? WT_?!

When my 350z closed on 90k miles, I stated seeing the SES light… a lot. I have replaced the following sensors:

- Crankshaft sensors (one bank, then the other)
- Camshaft sensors (one bank, then the other)
- O2 Sensor

And yesterday, the SES light appears again! What now?!

I’m taking the car in tomorrow to read the new code(s).

My question: How many more sensors are there to replace at 100k miles?

There are no sensors to replace at any mileage.....I guess it wouldn't hurt to change the O2 sensors, but only if they start to get lazy.

What were the codes?

^^ They said the code indicated the O2 sensor. I have replaced this sensor before. I had them clear the code, and so far SES isn't illuminated. I'll bet though it comes back on.

Hmmm....Ok, you know I'm no expert, but I would study the characteristics of all 4 sensors for a while using a scan tool. O2 sensor codes almost always indicate a bad sensor, but there are other possibilities.
Which sensor did you replace? Is it one of the other O2 sensors throwing a code?
To be fair, I'll just say again that replacing the O2 sensors at 100k is a good idea, since they can arguably be called a "tune up" item.
Cam sensors, abs sensors etc are hall effect sensors, 99% of the time, they either work or they don't work.

OK... Thanks for help. I'll show your post to the technician, and I will post back here once I have this solved. --Spike
