Hello , I am new to the forums and a fairly new Z owner . I bought my 07 about 5 months ago . A few days ago I noticed that( even when my car is not running ) there is around a couple of inches of "looseness " in the clutch when pressing it down .I can easily press is down a couple of inches with my finger . The clutch pedal also is slow to return from around the engagement point . Every Now and then it gets stuck after engaging and I have to pull it back up with my foot . It is catching fine and not slipping at all . I am new to manual transmissions and my car only has 25k miles . I appreciate any help/ suggestions ! Thanks in advance .

 

Change out the clutch fluid, if that does't work your master cylinder is toast.
