Read that thread. Seems pretty straight forward. Have you ever changed one of those sensors?

It was just an ecu error I think. Disconnected battery and error is cleared.

error will most likely come after the car goes through its drive cycles

Yeah, that error will more than likely come back. Disconnecting the battery just resets the ecu. If the problem is still there you should get the same error

I just got the same code this past week. I cleared the code and it came back 30 or so miles later.

Here's my question: Are the bank 1 and 2 sensors interchangeable? I'd like to change them to see if the sensor is bad or if it's a more serious issue.
If I can't switch em, I'll just bite the bullet and get a new sensor.

No they are different. One has an angled connector and one is straight, cant remember which is which though and drove the Z32 today so can't look at mine. The drivers side is a bit more difficult to get to - I had to remove the intake tube but other than that 30 minutes max. Buy an OEM replacement! No sense saving a few bucks and having to do it again.
