Default Swap HID harness to NON-HID headlight

Silly question but cannot find the answer. I have the HID stock headlights now. I want to swap them out due to haze and moisture within the light. Ebay non HID halogen headlights are my choice of replacements. Can I just swap everything over or is there something different between the two?

BUMP! Surely someone can give me an answer. I know it's stupid but just want to be sure before I buy if you know what I mean.

Do you have 03-05 headlights or 06+?

Why would you want to go with non hid crappy ebay replacements?

If the lens is just faded get some meguiars headlight restorer.

The inside of the lense is the bad part. I would have to replace the entire lense. Basically had a bad leak on them and all the water dried up and made the inside lense cloudy so it's not something that can be fixed.

I have the 04 style lights. All I want is to swap everything over from what's on there now to the replacements just want to make sure it's a direct swap.

I Believe the halogen 03-05 housings used a 6 pin connector while the HID housings use a 8 pin which is the same from 03-09.

I would suggest getting 06+ housings. Look better, perform better and will be a direct swap.

You could also pull the housing open and polish the inside of the lens but that is a lot of work to still have 03-05 heads.

I have my factory housings in my attic if you want direct swap HID housings.

I would much rather just swap out the housing since that is the only part damaged. It's not a lot of work with throwing in the oven then resealing. PM me
