A/C issue solved - unexpected issue
So I just bought my car recently and discovered my A/C wasn't working. Blower worked fine, fuses all checked out, and the schraeder valve showed that there was pressure in the system. Sent the car to Nissan to get it checked out.
After confirming that there was sufficient freon and pressure, they found a wiring diagram and discovered that two electrical plugs had been swapped, located just in front of the radiator. Whoever replaced the bumper (previous owner) plugged the COLOR-CODED plugs in the wrong sockets, and this disabled the A/C. They swapped the plugs, recharged, and now I'm good to go! Now I'm curious what else was disconnected :O
Just a potential FYI if you have had your bumper off and your A/C quits working.
Cheers!
