Default pilot bushing install concerns

So my new un-installed bushing seems to be the correct od and id......however it seems the old one might have a larger od and id......as well as it doesnt have much to of a id to grab to use a puller to remove it.

Is it common for size of the bushing to change after use.

Note in the picture the old bushing is still installed and I placed the new one next to it with clutch alignment tool.

Not sure what you are asking but no it is not common for the size of the bushing to change.

Does the new bushing fit on the input shaft of the transmission?
