Repair/Replace Fender
Greetings all,
I have a 2007 350z that I got in an accident with recently and sustained minor damage to the front bumper and passenger side front fender. The damage is very minor and I am trying to decide whether to have the fender repaired (straightened) or completely replaced with OEM. Which course of action is better for maintaining the long term value of the car? Thanks.

Thanks. The color is silver. Damage is very minor. They will be able to repaint the front bumper and it will be good as new. Slight damage to the fender (small crease on the under side of the wheel well; collision was under 5 mph). The body shop is suggesting I just straighten it because they are saying it will be noticeable if they replace it from disruption of the factory paint on the bolts, etc. They also mentioned a VIN label on the original fender but I really think replacing the fender is the better way to go. Price is not an issue as the difference in the two jobs is only about $200. The OEM fender from Nissan is only $300. Once again, I appreciate everyone's feedback.
