Default Intermittent Low pitch wobble / vibration noise @ ~45mph +

I have a 2003 manual base. Mods include: CB exhaust (nismo muff), LW flywheel, stage 2 clutch, 06 airbox and some cosmetics. ~90k miles. Runs great.

I am experiencing a very low pitched, intermittent wobbling hum. I am not sure where it is coming from in the car. The phonetics of it would be, forgive me, that of the beat drop. haha The Waawhh Waawhh of a dubstep song for those enlightened music fans. A better description of the noise can be found by reading on if you're still with me.

The noise comes about only after the car has been brought up to near operating temperature and a speed of roughly 45 mph or more. Once the noise initiates braking will make it slightly more intense. I've checked my tires, they appear to be in great shape. I had the front and rear brake components (pads and rotors) replaced a few months ago with little to no issue. I will be checking the wheel bearings once I can get the wheels off the ground.

There's no squealing, squeaking, grinding or chattering. The noise is just a wobble that becomes intense after maintaining a speed higher than ~45 mph for a mile or more.

I have done a substantial amount of research on this forum as well as others as to finding a thread where someone resolves an issue like mine. I am at a last resort with this post in an attempt to see if someone can lend insight before I take the car to the dealership and have my end part swiftly handled over a barrel and reared by a Nissan dealership service manager.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

Okay so it's definitely my rear driver's side brake. It's very similar to the same issue that caused me to have to replace the rotors and pads initially. Either the caliper is seizing up when it becomes hot or something is causing the rotor to wobble out-of-round once normal operating temperature is reached. I'm suspecting it could be the wheel bearing because the caliper appears fine and always releases when it drops in temp. I'll be taking the brake apart to see if it's stuck. Anybody sifting through this still who's had a similar issue I'd appreciate the insight.

Sounds like your rear wheel bearings are going out (fairly common) - I had to replace mine around 70k miles but I suspect they wore quickly due to the big offset on 20" wheels.
