Front turning on it's own
Okay guys so I recently got a new wheel set up,
I'm rocking 18x10 +22 with 265/35 up front
And 18x11 +16 285/35 in the rear.
I'm lowered on kw v1 coilovers and have rear spc camber arms, stock FUCA's.
I got my car aligned and all the numbers are in spec...
My problem is it feels like my fronts wheels are turning on their own when I'm on the highway, it seems the faster im going the worse it is. The wheels will turn slightly to the left or right causing a tiny sway in the front. It's not really bad but it's annoying.
I asked the guy at the shop about it and he said my car has "oversteer" since my fronts are so wide.
Is this fixable or something I just have to live with?

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about its called tramlining or something to that effect. It's fairly normal with an aggressive setup and some tires are much more prone to do it than others. Basically the tires are wanting to follow all the grooves and ridges on the roadway and are transferring all that movement to your steering wheel.
Usually happens more with wide, low profile, stiff sidewall tires. Alignment can also make a difference if you are out of spec or have more front toe than normal.

That's exactly what it feels like!! The tires are continental sport contacts.and it's definitely only when the road has unusual texture and grooves. So it's normal?

Yes it's fairly normal. You could alleviate some of it with changing alignment specs but you would lose some of the sharpness in the steering. Your other option is to go back down a couple sizes on the fronts and who really wants to do that?

I have the continental sport contacts after it was time to change the Hankook Ventus V12s I bought the car with and I love them. Also your car, extremely sexy. I know i'm off topic but you got a nice setup.
Check the LCA bushings. The 2 main reasons my car has done this are, blown bushings as a street car , and it does this now do to aggressive alignment with Zero to slight toe out up front
This is good advise. Bushings and lower control arm bushes could very well be worn at the age of your car.
Mine also runs very little to no toe and follows the road a bit more because of it.
My car only has 34,000 miles..
All my alignment specs are in spec besides front camber, I think I'm running like -2
It didn't do this before with my other wheel set up, but I also had 8.75's up front with a 255 tire.

Exactly what Halleck said. My Z and my G both do the exact same thing, I thought my alignment was off or a bushing was gone or something. I replaced all the bushings on both cars, rotated the wheels (when i had a square setup). Still wanted to pull to the right unless i drove almost perfect in the worn groves on the road.
WHen you get in the fast lane on the freeway is it as bad? Mine rides smoother on the side I guess because its a little less traveled lol.

Yeah it's usually better in the fast lane lol, some roads I don't feel it at all though. And I hardly ever feel it on regular roads.
I think it's possibly just the tires I don't know. I had michelins before these continentals. And it didn't happen with those.
