2006 oem clutch master/slave
Hi guys,
I'm having the clutch sticking issue in which the pedal does not always come all the way back up. I've done a search and it looks like it could be the master (and/or slave) cylinder. I've already tried changing out the fluid too.
My question is, if i replace the cylinder(s), should I stay away from OEM? I dont want to have to replace it only for the issue to pop up again (no pun intended). Has nissan done anything to fix the replacement part?

I replaced both -- although mine was most likely the seals at the slave cylinder.
Replace the slave cylinder first (external slave is VERY convenient) and make sure that the clutch line is fully bled.

I had the sticky clutch issue. Replaced fluid and rebuilt the master for $25. Doesn't stick anymore but when it gets really hot outside (90+ degrees) it does seem to act up very slightly. My guess is that I will end up replacing the slave eventually but it has been fine for about 2 months and counting.
