Default Horn stopped working after changing steering wheels

Alright guys. On my 08 base, a few months back i swapped the wheel for another 08 wheel with cruise controls and all. Disconnected the battery like stated, etc etc. Ever since swapping that day my horn has not worked.

The fuse is good. And when i lock the car, the horn does beep so the connection to the horns should be fine.

I think has has something to do with the little metal tab connection behind the airbag. I've taken it off a few times and reconnected everything and it still won't work.

Just wondering if anyone has a clue what i should look into next or what it could be?

Verify the connections are the same going into the swivel parts of the steering wheel is the same.

Seen below shows the connections I'm talking about

Thanks King. I'm going to check that today. If they're not the same do I have to get a connector from a non base Z or can I move the wires around in the connector?

I'm kinda a newb when it comes to wiring.

I have a 07 and the aftermarket hub and wheel I have are made (I assume) for 03-06 because I had to move around the wires myself.

Don't know the best way to go about testing this without chopping up all the wires to touch each other to get a honk LOL

GL keep us posting

Will do. Thank you for confirming the issue though! I would've figured they have the wiring the same. Crazy

Welp. Figured it out lol..

For whatever reason, the previous owner bent the two tabs that contact and signal the horn (circled in picture). So just pried them back down and works fine now. Didn't notice it the first few times I re-did everything

Welp lol glad it worked out without cutting anything!

I guess what I posted pertains to aftermarket as I had issues with mines until swapping pin positions.
