slipping
Not sure what is going on with my z, I have an 06 with nismo 6spd and nismo 1.5 way lsd.
Car jumps revs like its slipping the clutch in 5th and 6th if I put my foot in it, but takes off like a rocket 1st through 4th. I'm thinking that its the clutch/ flywheel but it may be the diff.
Anyone else have this issue or have an opinion about what it could be.
Car is supposed to have a jwt clutch flywheel combo, 548rwhp is what I'm told she dynoed at.

slipping revs in 5th and 6th yet holding 1st through 4th seems counter-intuitive of clutch slippage. I'm hardly an expert in either transmissions nor FDs, but I would venture to say your FD is your culprit...
I'm planning on building the car even more but need to replace the problem part to keep it driving till then.
Gonna check the fluids in the rear, but I swear I smell a faint burning clutch smell afterwards.

Definitely clutch. You have to look at it from load standpoint. Higher gear means higher load towards the engine at same speed. What's between your transmission/rear end and engine? Clutch/flywheel.
That being said, I'd wait a bit longer for that clutch. You really shouldn't be "getting on it" under 3k rpm, especially in 5 or 6th.
You can, but that's how you break sh**, beyond just the clutch. If you have rpm to reach 7k, no reason to at all, unless maybe in 1st. Even then I don't.
Shifting up till 5th or 6th while going for it is a different story, but if you're just flooring it in those gears you're putting a ton of load on the engine for no fawking reason. It's hard on the tranny, clutch, rods, increases probability for knock...

Twin plates are going to be more streetable compared to an equally matched single plate
I'd vote for a spec super twin they're around 1k and serviceable.
Although an RJM bracket and a single puck seems to be great too

Clutch is least of my worries now, had an oil cooler line burst and it go to no oil pressure, got a chatter sound, noticed the presure was 0 pulled it into a parking lot immediately and shut it down. Fixed the line but the an fitting is jacked up thanks to my friend cross threading it, but there's some metal shavings in the oil. So new clutch and motor most likely.
