Dome light issue of a different kind, seeking advice.
So recently the left dome light in my Z wasn't working. My first thought was what a great time to change the two bulbs to LED's. So I ordered some and they arrived today. Changed them out, and still the left light isn't working.
I pulled the assembly out, switched the two white control's (the clicky sound control) and still the left side isn't working. I then opened both doors, pulled the negative and waited 5 minutes. Still the left side isn't working. Then I checked the fuse, it looked good but I replaced it anyway. Still the left side isn't working.
Anyone here experienced this? After all of my searching, most people just ordered a new white control module for the dome/room light assembly and that fixed it. But that isn't going to work for me because after switching them, the problem doesn't move.
Thanks guys!

Today I noticed some light rusting in the steel portions of the light assembly. Haven't seen that on any of the others I've seen online. Tomorrow I'll check for the power, but I'm thinking I may need a new assembly.
Finding a Z in the junk yard here in Mississippi is as impossible and finding one to match my '66 Chrysler.
