Default 2008 350z belt tensioner assembly "CRACKED on top"

I have a 2008 350z 6 spd manual.found this belt tensioner assembly was cracked on top this morning after washing my car.any idea if this is serious that needs to be replace asap or i can still drive my car around?? thnxs in advance on any help..

i would replace it, i THINK this is what you need... may want to swing by Courtesy Nissan since you are in dallas and confirm

ok thnxs man, I just moved to Houston from dfw.. is it safe to drive it to the repair shop??

As long as the belt isn't jumping or slipping you'll be fine driving to repair it. I wouldn't push it hard though.

I've never changed belts on an HR but looking at the pic, I would say it's perfectly fine.

its the assembly on the top of the belt tensioner is cracked on top.

everything was repaired today..I'm happy to get my car back on the road after spending over $500.lol

new belt tentioner assembly & went ahead and installd a new belt too…
