Strange Idle Issues
I'm not sure what could be happening, but now when I rev my car while parked, after the rev needle comes down, for a few second the car sounds as though the engine is about to stall and cut off but then it regains power and continue functioning. Hopefully that makes a little bit of sense. Just want to know your expert opinions. Thanks

This may probably help more. A few days ago my car overheated really badly to the maximum because the radiator took an explosive ****. It overheated so badly that it refused to start. After towing it home, the next morning I started it up and everything seemed fine. No knocking noise, no smoke, no smell of coolant. I had the radiator changed. Did oil change as well just to be sure there wasn't any coolant in the oil or anything. The car sounds runs fine with the exception of that 2 second loss in power when the needle comes down after high revving it while parked I stated in the first post as well as a decrease in gas mileage. I noticed that im burning more gas than i normally did before the engine overheated. Those two are the only two noticeable changes.

What's the year of your car, mileage and mods?
Did it throw any codes when the radiator blew? If so, which ones?
Did you change out your thermostat? How about the coolant temp sensor? What exactly happened to the radiator and where exactly did it happen?
Did you do a hydrocarbon test on your coolant? What's the stoichiometric air to fuel ratio you're currently running? Are you running rich? If so, how rich? Did you check for misfires? What's the condition of the plugs and the coil packs? Did you check your fuel injectors (preferably with a automotive scope)?
Don't replace parts unless you know they're bad. You can make a lot of wrong assumptions if you don't perform proper, informed diagnosis.
