Car driving me crazy, Engine is running but the cluster
is off, meaning. While the Engine is idling, the rpm gauge drops to zero, and all the lights turn on, and the radiator fan turns on but the car is still running. WTH is going on, i have no idea.
What would cause the radiator fans to turn on, cluster lights turn on, rpm drop to zero, but engine keep running?
This is another issue that just started on top of my p0300 misfire. Any help, or info is appreciated, Thanks.

When the ECM has a major fault, it goes into failsafe mode. The fans turning on all the time is a tell-tale sign.

Hi, i got a another ECM/PCM And its doing the same thing. I traced the wires, the 3 connectors by the battery, the ones that are connected to the EFI Harness. The connector that is in front, is hooked up to the white connector that is by the PCM/ECM, Which sends signal to the cluster. I cleaned the connectors, and will try it out tomorrow see what happens.

If the car is RUNNING and the RPM gauge drops to zero, that means the ECU is probably fine. If the fans run and the car will NOT run THEN the ECU may be at fault.
The gauge operates via CAN - you need to troubleshoot your wiring or the gauge needs to be replaced. Follow the FSM step by step...
