Exclamation Need help no ignition nats?

So my 03 350z decided to die one day....
weeks prior i noticed every now and then the
car would run fine but the security light would stay on.
im not getting any key light or cel lights and
when i turn the key now the security light goes away.
fuel pump works and all fuses and relays are good.
cam/crank sensors are all new, battery is good
and its not the maf sensor. also pulled the coil packs
and non of them are getting any spark.
doubt all of them would go out at once so im guessing
its an ignition problem.

im thinking its the nats antenna or the key?
is there any other explanation of the car dieing on the freeway
under normal driving contitions? it started a few times
after that but ran very very rough.

also, if it is a nats antenna, could i buy a used ignition cylinder w/key&remote and install that without needing to get anything programed?
i dont care if it doesnt unlock the door manually.

You should probably take (tow) the car to a dealer to have it checked. About the only way to check the NATS is to hook the car up to the dealer's computer.

I believe you would have to have the car's computer reprogrammed if you install a used ignition switch.

would a nats problem come up on a regular hand held scan?
or usually need the expensive dealer stuff?
