Angry What should I do?

So to start things off I blew a tire on the bypass yesterday...

... and ended up getting a new tire from Tirerack today to replace it. I dropped off the wheel, grabbed some new tuner lugs (one of the old nuts got stripped somehow) and put the wheel back on myself once they were done.

Well, I kept feeling that wheel spin whenever I'd try to accelerate somewhat fast so I decided to take it to a shop and have them take a look. Only place open was Walmart.

I get there, ask them if they can make sure the wheel is on the hub straight and everything is tightened down ok and one of the kids does it pro bono while I talk to his dad for a bit. He finishes, tells me he tightened everything down to 100lbs... I thank him and drive off. Everything feels better, didn't pay a dime, cool.

Then this happens:

I mean what the ****. I had driven maybe 10 miles was going maybe 35 mph and the only wheel this kid touched flys off. I don't even know what that little plastic thing is or what all got damaged or what I should even do about this all.

I ended up jacking the car up somewhere I shouldn't have, placing my donut under the car, lowered the jack and relocated it where it should be. I probably damaged something doing that but that's the only way I could think to get my wheel back on. Thankfully I still had a bag full of lug nuts in the car cause God knows where the other ones went.

Input anyone?

I don't even know where to begin with all that looks wrong with these pictures?

What is the thread pitch of the new lug nuts you bought?

Are you sure you or the "tech" used the correct lug nut holes since XXRs are dual pattern?

Is that bird crap on your rotor?

Were those metal to metal rub marks on your caliper and the edge of your rotor there before this happened?

Did someone weld a spacer to the end of your rotor hat?

100lbs torq? The manual calls for 85. Most do 90-95. It is possible you got the qrong size lugs, possible 100lb+ couldve stripped the lugs. Cant say for sure. What we can say is, proper wheels spec, proper lugs, proper install and none of this shouldve happened. Something, somewhere along the line, was improper

It sure looks like it lol. But no. It's "white grease" I borrowed from Autozone to spray on the bolts. I'll be sure to use power lube instead next time.

Here's how I have it...

And here's a front wheel that hasn't been touched since I bought the car...

They're the same no?

As for the pitch I don't know. They say Gorilla 1/2-20 on them. I took an old nut off, walked into Tirerack and asked for a replacement. They told me they didn't sell those anymore but they had something else that would work. I figured if they said it was compatible it was.

I don't think there's a spacer welded on? It wasn't done by me... and I don't remember seeing any scratches before. I actually didn't notice those until now looking at the picture but it was dark out.

It's really likely the nuts got stripped, they strip easy. A 1/4 turn too much with a four way stripped one when I was putting the wheel back on.

And thanks lol.

You dragged your *** end on the ground and you want to drive it to work without looking what else could be wrong under the car?

Jesus. You're just begging for more problems, aren't you?

I don't know it's what came with the car I haven't had it that long. I was ready to buy four new Continental Extremecontact DWS tires but I keep running into **** that drains my bank. I'm hoping sometime this month.

I'm trying to keep my job man. There's no one that can take me to work and we have a really crappy point system. So yes, if it's drivable I'm going to drive it so I can keep a paycheck coming to fix whatever's wrong and put food in my stomach.

Start saving, you're going to need more than tires now.

Look at your exhaust, specifically the driver side. That alone should be telling you there is more damage under the car.

Get on a bus. Seriously. I wouldn't be driving that before getting underneath to fully check it out.

A bus? At 3:30 in the morning? **** it'd have to be earlier than that if there even was one. I work three cities away start at 4:30. If I'm lucky enough to get out before 4:30 there's a chance I could catch a couple home but getting there is impossible. I would if I could but I can't.

And the muffler wasn't touching the ground. Close but no cigar.

Do not drive it to work, 1 of your nuts is ready to come off.
