Default clutch sticking halfway

After driving about 20 miles and it's warm out my clutch pedal doesn't come up all the way. Shifting starts to feel rough and sometimes doesn't want to go into reverse. Any ideas? I'm thinking clutch master and/or slave cylinder. I'm gunna start by changing both

It could possibly be the fluid itself, might have boiled air bubbles into it. You may want to try bleeding fluid before just throwing money at parts.

It's a 2006 and that's what I originally thought but a friend of mine was saying it's probably the master cylinder. I'll give that a shot when I get a chance

it is best to replace the master and slave together, since yours is external it will be easy. not to mention when you take the slave off all the fluid is going to drain out, you will be putting in fresh stuff, so all three things will be covered

Think that'll fix the problem?

I had the exact same problem after I replaced my clutch on my 2004 z. all I had to do was bleed out the clutch and boom problem fixed. I just drove it all the way to Mexico and the problem didn't happen again.

Replace the clutch line. Several companies make a braided line.

if your certain it doesnt have bubbles in it then its probably the master cylinder and or slave. what year car and how many miles? I'd replace both and upgrade to the stainless line. check out czp. Make sure you follow the fsm exactly or look up my thread on how to bleed it right or you will be pumping the brake pedal for hours. E

replace master and slave. when bleeding make sure to crack all the fittings to let air out. alot of times air gets trapped by banjo bolts etc.

My 06 does that too on hot days. The clutch pedal makes a clicking noise. And during the summer sometimes I have to use my foot to lift the pedal back to normal. I've read that its your master cylinder, but should replace slave also. Its not an expensive fix so mind as we'll just do both.
