so I had my coolant flushed and changed a month ago. I looked at the coolant level for the 1st time after the flush and its at min. the car is still kinda hot. does the coolant level change as it gets hotter or colder? should I add more into it??

Add coolant immediately. There are two quick ways to ruin and engine: Overheating and low oil.

If it's just a low level in the overflow tank, pour in some water. It's normal for the tank to be a little low after a coolant flush/refill as air bubbles work their way out of the system, and as the system cools, coolant to replace that air is drawn in from the overflow. That's why it's there. If it happens again, start looking for a leak in the system.

thanks. I had my oil filter and oil changed today. they also toped off the overflow tank for me so now its at max. I went to Canadian tire to do it. tbh only 45$ for the oil fliter and other fluids is pretty worthit.

Just an FYI in case it ever happens again (hopefully it doesn't). If you do decide to add water, make sure to add distilled water. don't add tap (it's not a huuuuuge deal but just another precaution you can take). tap has a lot of stuff in it that would be better of not in your engine. Cheers!

He's in Canada. He will add coolant, not water.
