Default Z leaking air

Alright before I get flack for not searching, I found a thread with my exact same problem but with no solution (Link: https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...er-window.html)

So my question is, what kind of problem is this? Window stripping? Regulator? Motor?

Just want to know before I go about buying parts that won't solve this issue.

I've read once before that these seals wear out and rip. Mine need replaced but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Thanks for the help, does anything think it could be the regulator? I'll be driving down the highway and the window will just slightly roll down like a millimeter but you can hear the air streaming through. Also, had where I was getting a car wash and the water came in through my tweeters which gave me a scare.

Is that just a suggestion or an actual fix? I'd rather know what is the issue before tearing the door panels off and such.

my thinking... a little bit of time doing it, or more time and money replacing the window motor..

i would try the free part first

I need to do the relearn on my windows again or see what's dragging. Just replaced my window motors and my driver window just barely drops enough to clear the A pillar cover but the passenger window wont drop at all. It goes slack and you can push it down but it wont pull itself down.

And the seals I linked above are old and worn so they leak.

I reset my driver window then it went funny again a day later. I just replaced it 2 days ago, did the reset and i haven't looked back. My windows actually role up enough to make a water tight seal but still clear the A-frame to open the door when the pinch function didn't work correctly.

Replace the motor if that is what you think is causing it vs a bad seal. It will save you time in the long run.
