How much does the tach needle twitch? If it's slight, I wouldn't be too concerned...

It is slight, it will twitch up and down but not too much but when I rev it a little it will twitch down pretty fast but when I start driving it around it stops

Mine does this whenever I get in it in the morning, it sort of wiggles up and down slightly. I always just assumed this was because it was getting warmed up.

When I would walk away and let it warm up, or start driving, it stabilizes.

Yeah doesn't sound like a big problem, if it happens while I'm driving or gets worse I'll start being more concerned, to me it sounds like a sending unit
