Gearbox whine, hard to shift when cold?
When I go to start my Z up when the engine is cold, it's very hard to shift. After letting it warm up for a few minutes, shifting is still tough, but manageable. Now when I get going a whine occurs and the pitch of the whine matches the rpms. After driving for 15-20 minutes, the whine fades and shifting becomes easier. The Z is an 03 touring with 93k miles. I believe am going to flush the tranny and put some redline mt-85 in within the next week or two. Any ideas or suggestions on a better move? The tranny doesn't grind in any gear and feels awesome once it's warmed up. Also, it has a brand new Z1 lightweight clutch and flywheel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

^good to here! And I will have head out there pretty soon. Sick of having to wait 10 minutes to drive and feeling like I'm going to brake my tranny.
