Default help figure out if it's slave cylinder.

Hi, i have little problem, and i think it might be slave and master cylinder that might cause the problem on my car with little reaserch on forum. But i am not too sure about it and want to see if others had similar experiance like me. Car was fine last night I drove it, but today when i stepped on clutch, it got stuck and only comes out half way. And the gear also won't go in. It's 06 and I replaced clutch 2 month ago with full kit. Its confusing because it was driving just perfect yesterday and happened so sudden.

you could try just changing the fluid, but if it were me... i would just change the master and the slave.

I had the same issue with my clutch pedal only popping back up about halfway. Went with the Wilwood master cylinder from zspeed and all has been good since then. If you do end up replacing the master, you may as well do the slave at the same time to avoid any other problems in the future.

If you do end up going with the Wilwood master (which I would highly recommend), you'll need to reuse the OEM reservoir and some of the OEM hose that connects the two. Personally, I upgraded to a Wilwood reservoir so I could use my Motive power bleeder and not have to hassle with the Z's unconventional bleeding procedure found in the FSM.

Wilwood now sells a kit which has everything you need for the reservoir swap found in this excellent write-up: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...voir-swap.html

DIY for master replacement: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...-cylinder.html

Link to reservoir kit from Wilwood (product no.: 260-11098): http://www.wilwood.com/MasterCylinde...emno=260-11098

Good luck!
