Default Starter issues need help

Hello everyone ,
I have become the owner of a 2004 track edition with around 94,000 on the clock and ran into some issues yesterday , i was driving around and everytbing was fine until i turned my car off and then 4 minutes later tried to move it and it wouldnt start at first it would crank once then die , all battery connections were good , i did some research on the clutch safety switch? Does anyone think this could be my issue? I was able to get pulled and pop start it . I went and bought a starter either way just incase that was the issue. If anyone can shine some light on this please do!

Welcome- you need to put more effort into analyzing the problem before you start buying parts. I suggest looking at the simplest explanations and progressing through the more complex ones. While it's good you checked your battery terminals, you need to critically examine the battery. How old is it and have you had it tested recently? Do you have a code reader and has your Z's diagnostic system identified any problems?
