Exclamation IPDM needs replaced I think

Hello, car has been acting crazy. The gauge cluster loses power and the motor also wont go past an idle speed. sometimes it will do this, then all power comes back and it works fine. I believe it might be doing this due to moisture getting in but not sure. But from what I've read and been told, it has to do with the IPDM.

Is the whole IPDM going to need replaced? (If so, is it a hassle?) or is it something within that can be fixed/replaced. Thanks!

Before you replace the whole IPDM, you might want to do a quick diagnostic on your ECM/ECU relay. That could be what's giving you an intermittent issue.

Edit:
Be sure you're familiar with the procedure for testing relays before you do this. Testing a relay incorrectly can fry an ECU. I use a Relay Buddy tool with a Lisle Nissan adapter kit, so I can do everything off the car safely. If the relay tests bad, don't try to fix it by filing off the carbon. Just get a new one.
