First 2 steps of Idle Relearn
Quick question when doing the idle relearn, the first 2 steps are supposed to be done on a cold motor or engine warmed up for all steps?
Last step engine warmed up, turn ignition on 3 secs, punch pedal 5 times etc...
Tried both ways but did not notice any difference, The MIL lights flashed but no difference noted
Thanks.

I'm getting a bouncing Rpm once in a while . Rpm drops to 500rpm and bounces back up to normal engine speed. Doesn't happen all the time though sometimes annoying..
Mine will idle at 1500 after getting off the freeway. RPMs randomly hang when say going over multiple speed bumps from clutch in and out then easing of the gas. Things like that
None of this was a problem before all the work

Guess im lucky. I swapped intakes about 5 times and once even pushed the butterfly open because curious and she idles perfect. I know no help but am baffled how plugs and intake swap causes irreversible idle probs
To answer the original question, it doesn't matter. The Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning and Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning steps simply teach the ECU what voltages to expect at those control positions.
I just happened to do the intakes at the same time
