Default Oil Leak

Hey all. I have an oil leak at the rear of my engine. At first I thought it was the valve covers and since it's a high mileage car, 165XXX miles, I went ahead and replaced the gaskets and cleaned up the oil residue that was left behind. The car still has an oil leak and I can confirm it isn't from the valve covers. whatever it is, it's near or somewhere around the transmission bell housing. Any suggestions?

They make 2" flexible mirrors on a telescoping handle. With a good flashlight you should be able to find it. Or find the leak at the bottom and follow it up. gl.

You can get a trace UV dye kit and add it to the oil. You should be able to find the source of the leak quickly that way.

Check the camshaft position sensors also. The gaskets on those can sometimes go bad.

Bump on those camshaft position sensor gaskets. Mine were leaking like hell and I replaced valve cover gaskets twice myself before I figured it out! Fairly simple fix
